Recipe with frozen mango

This recipe is ideal to share in very warm tropical environments or during the summer. Also, it is commonly known as mango ice cream or frozen mango, depending on the area where they consume it.

Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 240 grams of Mango
  • 15 ml of milk
  • 5 ml of lemon juice
  • 2 grams of Vanilla powder or half a teaspoon of liquid vanilla
  • 100 grams of yogurt

Steps for preparation

  1. If our fruit freezes too much and is too hard, it is recommended to wait a few minutes before grinding it, as this would damage the robot's motor or blade. Also, be careful not to freeze or freeze.
  2. Place sliced ​​frozen mangoes in a glass or bowl in a food processor, mincer, blender or robot.
  3. Add a small amount of milk and lemon and start mixing in small batches, using a spatula if necessary, until the dough is still very frozen.
  4. Add the yogurt, and repeat until the cream is still somewhat grainy.
  5. If required, add the vanilla, stir it with a spatula and stir a few more times until it has a good texture. Small pieces of mango can be completely crushed.
  6. Add the mixture to an ice cream mold and take it to the freezer until you wait for it to solidify
  7. At the time of consuming, just take out of the mold and serve as a normal ice cream

Mango sponge cake recipe

The mango sponge cake is an excellent option to enjoy a dessert with tropical flavor but in the form of a cake. Next we will explain how to prepare it in a simple way and with ingredients that you can get in any supermarket.

Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 1 mango
  • 100 ml of olive acceptance
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 100 g of butter
  • 16 grams of chemical yeast
  • 200 g of flour
  • 120 ml of milk

For the mango icing

  • 100 gr of crushed mango
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • 200 g of icing sugar

Steps for preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180º and preheat the mold of 20 cm.
  2. We beat the eggs with sugar until they double in size. When they are completely foamed, add butter and oil, and then mix.
  3. Sift the flour and yeast over the previous mixture. We perfectly integrate all movements with enveloping movements.
  4. Later, add the chopped mango and milk together (in a blender), and we pass the poppy seeds through some flour. Thus, will not sink to the bottom during the baking process.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for a few 30-40 minutes. When you're ready (we prick with a toothpick to check), heat it up before releasing it from the mold.
  6. For the frosting, Mix the crushed mango with icing sugar and water and beat well. When the cake is cold and ready to eat, pour the frosting on top.
